This October, I participated in my first ever styled wedding shoot. I wasn’t sure what to expect, or how things go, but after doing one, I pretty much want to do them all the time!
For me, the best part was creative freedom. I reached out to Erika, our shoot coordinator and stylist, and told her I wanted to do a fall themed shoot. We collaborated to choose the decor, colors and food, but after we established the outline of our vision, Erika contacted vendors and everyone got to be creative with where they wanted to take their talents.
With my photography style, I really feel myself gravitating towards bold and rich colors and these amazing vendors delivered above and beyond! The bold blues and merlots blended perfectly with the blush and ivory accents, and the mixed metals from jewelry to table settings really brought the entire look together.
I got to meet most of these vendors and make some new friends. I am beyond blown away with everyone’s talents and willingness to contribute to this event. I cannot wait to work with these vendors again for all the pretty weddings down the road.
I also want to thank our models, my good friend Madalyn (our bride), my sister Jenay, and some new friends, Cori & Kelcee!
Thank you to the amazing vendors!
