Katelyn has been dreaming of her cotton field engagement photos for a long time. It’s always crazy to me how people find me, and Katelyn found me on Instagram! I am so glad she did and we were able to connect for these cotton field engagement photos. One of the best parts about California is our variety. We’ve got the mountains and the beaches a few hours away either direction, and tons of agriculture in the central valley. What more could a photographer ask for!
I love connecting with clients, and it was so great to find out that Katelyn was also in Sigma Alpha in college. We’re basically sisters now. And her soon to be husband is an Ag Teacher in Bakersfield. Ag Teachers had such a huge impact on my life during high school, and it’s so wonderful to meet couples who share interests with me that allows us to connect and form real, genuine friendships.

Since Trevor and I had a December wedding, they hold a special place in my heart. Also, can’t go wrong wit a Christmas themed wedding. Most wonderful time of the year and all that! For me, as an ag major in college, cotton field photos have always been on my photo bucket list!
