This beautiful foothill engagement session in the hills east of Fresno, California was one of my favorites!
Kylie and Samuel chose to do their engagement photos on Kylie’s family property in Squaw Valley and the historic property did not disappoint! These newly engaged lovers are so damn in love and I’m so honored they chose me to document their special day. Engagements are always an exciting time for couples; the excitement and anticipation of an amazing future together is truly one of the greatest joys this job offers. Ok I mean COME ON! How perfect is this shot!! The sky was showing off for sunset, the grasses were just turning gold and the oak trees were full and vibrant! This foothill engagement session was such a friggen dream guys. Oh, and I am also totally loving Kylie’s skirt that I recommended from Amazon. Was I right about this skirt or was I right? Amazon is amazing, and seriously, Kylie looks absolutely stunning!!
We also had some guests show up! This rooster really wanted to make sure we knew that he was there, and there was a herd of cattle off in the distance mooing at us while we took their photos.
No engagement session is complete without an impromptu dance party! Clearly, Samuel rocked it!

If I had to choose one favorite photo from this engagement session, it would be this last photo. Not only does it show off the stunning foothills of Squaw Valley, but the magic that two lovers can create by just being authentically themselves. Thank you Sam and Kylie for trusting me and choosing me to capture these moments for you both. I am forever grateful for clients like you both.
