Summer engagement photos in Shaver Lake are some of my all time favs!

Summer engagement photos have the best lighting! Seriously it is almost always perfectly warm and golden! And my favorite little meadow always has new surprises for me and our couples LOVE getting away for an evening together. Samantha and Danny are the absolute sweetest couple to work with and I adore these fun photos of them. A goal with every engagement session is to capture the couple authentically and we nailed it with this summer engagement session!

I love that Sam and Danny were so comfortable and able to be themselves in front of the camera. It’s hard being in front of a camera – I get it. I have been there friends! Which is why I don’t just spend the entire session clicking away. I take time to chat with couples, learn about what they do, things they enjoy together and walk them through their engagement session step by step.

Summer engagement photos make the prettiest light for the prettiest photos and the sweetest couples! You can see the love Sam and Danny have so clearly in these photographs. This entire engagement session was full of so many laughs. It was such a joy to be able to capture these two together and really capture the love they share.

When I asked Sam about their love, she told me one of the foundations of their love was humor. You can absolutely feel that looking through their silly, candid and fun engagement photos!
