One of my favorite things to do with my husband is to go camping. My other favorite thing is being a wedding photographer. What better way to blend my two loves than by working with amazing local wedding vendors to create a romantic, camping styled shoot?

One of my favorite details from this shoot were the stunning wildflowers. This location for the shoot was filled with yellow wildflowers, so seeing the bouquet bring this all together was perfectly imperfect. Something I think weddings focus a lot on is perfection, but my goal is to help my clients see that there is beauty in imperfection. Nothing ever goes perfectly according to plan, so I like to embrace imperfection and celebrate its beauty!
A styled shoot is a chance for wedding vendors to come together with their shared vision and create beautiful photos and even more beautiful moments. Showcasing what your business can do and what talents you can offer for your potential clients is an amazing opportunity. I don’t take on styled shoots too often, because I want the majority of my portfolio to showcase real couples and authentic weddings. But when I get a chance to work with some amazing talent or bring a fun idea to life, I just cannot turn it down!
