This Halloween Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot was created to show couples that bright, bold and vibrant colors can still create a romantic wedding atmosphere.

The modern touches of matte black in the plates and candles contrast the bone colored linens and menus, while the florals pop with rich, fall colors. Halloween doesn’t typically make you think of romance and elegance, so we wanted to bring the colors of the fall season to life with a wedding pallet that is sure to inspire! The sultry mixture of tulle and lace on the wedding gown blending with the black velvet on the grooms coat compliment the blending of metals, colors and tones showcased throughout this entire shoot.

Personally, I wanted brides to see that it’s ok to go off the typically “romantic” colors of blush and ivory. I love me a good, soft color pallet, but I also adore creating beautiful photographs with COLOR! That’s why I’ve honed in on my photography and editing to keep my work true to color. My couples never lose those details they’ve worked so hard on to an editing “style” that may fade with time. These timeless photographs and this colorful pallet is sure to bring all your wedding dreams to life. And who doesn’t love a good Halloween Wedding! Hold the jack-o-lanterns and scary masks for this one, because this wedding theme was nothing short of romance and elegance!

I couldn’t help myself when we blew out the candles. These translucent, smokey lines floating up from the table decor lended the perfect hint of Halloween wedding with the elegance of the decor.

As soon as I saw our model in this tulle bodice gown by Lillian West, I was in love!

The floral detailing along the a-line, tulle skirt lended the perfect bit of elegance to the shoot. While the tulle and boning on the bodice complimented the Halloween theme, the draped sleeves ties together both the vibes of Halloween wedding, and elegance. This incredible bridal hair and makeup were done by the amazingly talented Hair by Whitney & Makeup by Charissa! Without the talent from these beautiful ladies, this vision couldn’t have come to life! They melted romance and elegance with the dark and rich Halloween vibes so well and created a look that stops the show!

Not only did they provide some amazing rentals, but they also did the floral arrangements which, if I do say so myself, are IN-FREAKING-CREDIBLE!! These gals are constantly going above and beyond to create magic with me, and I could not have done it without them. Having never styled a table in my life, they brought all the goodies so I could mix and match patterns and colors until I was able to bring my vision to life! Thank you Rikki & Sami and the whole Picker Team for everything you guys did!

Ok, but can we talk about this cake for a sec? HOLY COW! Julian at Bella Donna Baking Co. made all my dreams come true! Not only does the bold color of this cake tie in so well, but it lights up! The perfect bit of flare to tie in a little spooky with a little elegance!

And Easyylivin coming in clutch with the graze filled with all my fall favorites. Colorful cheeses, rich colored berries, white pumpkin accents and mixed metals on the tray and serveware to tie perfectly into the colors of this shoot. And yes, we did get to eat it and it was AMAZING!!
